About the Art Walks
An informal way to learn art within the historic City of Durham and the surrounding area. Art Walks are a relaxing and fun way to spend a pleasant Saturday morning in the fresh air.
Each month there is a different subject to provide an interesting, unique and varied art experience.
Suitable for all abilities from the beginner to the professional.
All you need is an A5 or A4 sketchbook and art materials.
Wrap up warm & wear sensible footwear.
No booking required simply turn up on the day of the walk with your art materials and sketchbook.
Please pay on arrival £4 per person (under 16 free). Carers accompanying a disabled person are free.

All walks are on Saturday for 2 hours and start at 10 a.m.

12 May 2018: Houghall Woods
Meet at the car park. There is free limited car parking.
23 June 2018: Durham Market Place
Meet at the Neptune Statue, opposite Boots the Chemist.
7 July 2018: St. Oswald’s Church
Meet at the churchyard entrance next to the Zebra crossing.
8 September 2018: Seaham Harbour Marina
Meet at the car park near the lifeboat hut. Free Parking at the Marina and a few cafés, if you want to make a day of it and stay for lunch after the walk.
